National selection

National coach Emilian Broë has chosen six girls for the Watersley Ladies Challenge: Noémie Martinet (Chambéry Cyclisme Compétition), Justine Baud (VC Cluses-Scionzier), Lucie Elizalde (AS Bike), Noémie Jurado Roumieux (Team U LH), Lise Revol (AS Bike) and Sidonie Vachet (Team Buffaz Gestion de Patrimoine). Among them, Noémie Martinet and Justine Baud are the two new French champions.

Competition details

The Watersley Ladies Challenge will take place from 24 to 26 July. On the first day, the participants will face a 6.4-kilometre time trial. The event is considered a major step for young French riders, offering the chance to compete against the world’s best.

International context

France recently lost 0-2 to Spain on 14 July 2026. In its last five matches, the team recorded four wins, no losses and one draw (LWWWW). The next official match is scheduled against Turkey, away, on 25 September 2026.

Next steps

The French riders will train intensively for the competition, aiming to defend their national honor and gain valuable international experience.
